The company MASO was founded in the year 1961 by Manfred Sommer.
The main duty at the beginning was the gentle transfer of grapes in the winery industry.
Already during that time the company MASO developed their own pump systems in order to solve difficult problems in the market.
In the middle of the seventies the company developed the MASO PADDLE PUMP which is mainly used for different applications in the food industry.
The MASO PADDLE PUMP was especially designed to handle processed food very gently. Up today the MASO PADDLE PUMP is the alternative for fragile products.
During the year 1981 the MASO SINE PUMP was developed. This pump system is one of the few real serious new developments in the pump industry. Thousands of MASO pumps are working successfully every day. During the year 1995 the DIN ISO 9001 certification was made. This was a further proof of the high quality of MASO products.
